Some things are also very repetitive (missions in general, many locations like battlefield and towns/castles are the same) but I imagine this will get better later on.įrom a functional point of view combat and character development seem fairly polished and the game is engaging and fun. The day that 1866 comes gold, I am buying warband, its so fraking satisfying to fight, the towns are so well designed and thank God you let me fight battles in towns, being able yo drag commanche warbands to villages and fight them where I can gain a tactical advantage rocks. It has bugs and problems that are being ironed out by regular patches and there are already a bunch of mods on nexus that fix bugs or improve QoL.Įarly access generally turns me away but this feels close to what early access should be.The only thing I find frustrating is the games complexity and depth (as a newbie) and how little this is explained by the in-game encyclopedia. I am having a great time exploring the continent and building my character and army.
Now that I have played a bit I am getting sucked in and haven't touched any other games since I bought bannerlord. I have older M&B games but never really played them so this is really my first rodeo with the series.
Been playing for a week and its worth checking out.
